Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the hospitality industry and have experience in serving food and beverages.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance the overall guest experience of Millers Bar.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with hospitality practices.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in serving food and beverages.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
