We are looking for a Year 6 teacher in Watford, Hertfordshire This Outstanding school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

Responsibilities of a Year 6 teacher:

· As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.

· Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry

· Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

Year 6 Teacher requirements:

· QTS, PGCE and strong academic record

· Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environment

· Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
