Year 1 Teacher - January 2025 Start

We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher in Watford, Hertfordshire starting this upcoming January This is an opportunity to work within a 'Good' primary school in Herts, Southeast England. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

Responsibilities of a Year 1 teacher:

· Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on the National Curriculum.

· Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 1 students to encourage growth and development.

· Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

· Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

· Three-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Watford, Hertfordshire.

· Friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms

· Easy commute to and within Watford, Hertfordshire via public transport.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

· Proven experience teaching Year 1 in a primary school setting.

· A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and how to tailor instruction to meet its requirements.

· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools.
