As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will bring substantial experience managing complex accounting systems within similar environments. Your background should include extensive interaction with SQL-based reporting tools alongside an aptitude for learning new technologies quickly. Effective communication skills are vital as you engage regularly with colleagues from diverse backgrounds-your ability to explain technical concepts simply will set you apart. Discretion is paramount given your access to confidential financial data; meticulous attention ensures accuracy throughout your work. You will demonstrate adaptability by embracing new challenges enthusiastically while supporting team goals through collaboration. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify opportunities for improvement proactively while maintaining rigorous documentation standards demanded by auditors or management alike.

Experience required;

  • A minimum of five years' experience working with accounting systems within a law firm or other professional services environment is highly desirable for this role.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels across the business while demonstrating sound judgement in your recommendations.
  • Ideally you will have experience in the Legal industry.
  • Demonstrable experience working independently with SQL/SSRS is essential; you should be comfortable running queries unsupervised and eager to further develop your technical skills through ongoing training.
  • Experience sourcing data in response to ad-hoc requests using standard practice management system reports or custom SQL queries is required.
  • Prior hands-on experience using Aderant Expert would be advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn new platforms is important.
  • A high level of discretion, sensitivity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information is expected at all times.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial as accuracy underpins every aspect of this position's responsibilities.
