Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leader in the Fit Out / Strip Out and Flooring markets in London and the South East as well as the wider UK in their search for additional Estimators to help win new business and Tenders within their Strip Out and Decoration Divisions.

The Company:

Our client is a group of companies that tenders for large strip out / fit out projects in London and across the UK.

They Offer a one stop shop for the Fit Out sector with Strip Out, Decoration and Flooring Packages offered.

They are currently seeking Estimators for their Strip Out and Decoration offerings.

This offers an excellent opportunity to join a leading company that is currently winning many large contracts, and to build a key role moving forward.

We are assisting them in their search for Estimators in their Strip Out and Decoration Divisions.

Responsibilities of the Strip Out Estimator are as follows: 
  • Responsible for pricing a diverse range of contracts including Soft Strip Out, Waste-aways, structural alterations / small builders works and remediation amongst other areas.
  • Completion of all relevant tender and estimation paperwork.
  • Part of the contract management from pre start to post project. This will include attending pre-start meetings, meeting valuation deadlines, final project accounts, visiting site, undertaking spot checks.
  • Liaising with Main Contractors and Developers to ascertain project criteria, proposed start dates, scope and scale of works.
  • The role will predominantly be office based with some site visits for surveys etc.
Qualifications for Demolition Estimator are as follows: 
  • Experienced in assessing large project sites, in terms of timescales, plant, workers, pre-lims, H&S, and submitting a competitive tender to clients.
  • Building client relationships and managing client expectations.
  • Having the ability to assess profitable opportunities at all times.
Responsibilities of the Fit Out Decoration Estimator are as follows: 
  • Responsible for pricing a diverse range of Decoration contracts including Offices, Residential, Industrial and Residential market areas.
  • Completion of all relevant tender and estimation paperwork on time and accurately.
  • Use of Blue Beam and similar Estimation Tools.
  • Part of the contract management from pre start to post project. This will include attending pre-start meetings, meeting valuation deadlines, final project accounts, visiting site, undertaking spot checks.
  • Liaising with Main Contractors and Developers to ascertain project criteria, proposed start dates, scope and scale of works.
  • The role will predominantly be office based with some site visits for surveys etc.
Qualifications for Decoration Estimator are as follows: 

Experienced in assessing large project sites, in terms of timescales, workers, pre-lims, H&S, and submitting a competitive tender to clients.
Building client relationships and managing client expectations.
Having the ability to assess profitable opportunities at all times.
