The Role: New Business Sales Executive
We're seeking an ambitious and driven
New Business Sales Executive
to help expand NETbuilder's footprint across enterprise clients. You'll play a key role in selling high-value IT consulting and transformation services—including observability, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across observability, security, managed services, and cloud.
- Build strong relationships with enterprise decision-makers and strategic partners (software vendors, channel partners).
- Collaborate with technical and consulting teams to create value-led solution proposals.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
- Drive outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and keep CRM (HubSpot) data clean and up to date.
- Represent NETbuilder at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in IT sales, BDR/SDR roles, or similar—ideally within consulting or enterprise technology.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding new business KPIs and revenue targets.
- Solid understanding of the IT landscape—bonus if you have exposure to observability, cloud, or cyber security.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Confidence in outbound sales and in engaging senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Engineering, etc.).
- Highly self-driven, ambitious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-led environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience selling Cribl, Splunk, or other observability solutions.
- Background in selling managed services/MSP offerings.
- Exposure to UK mid-market and SME buyers.
- Experience within an IT consultancy or transformation-focused organisation.
