Workday Payroll Consultant – UK Payroll Expertise

We're looking for an experienced
Workday Payroll Consultant
to join our team and play a key role in implementing and optimising Workday Payroll solutions designed specifically for the
UK market
.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure smooth payroll operations, compliance, and system efficiency — helping deliver accurate payroll processing across the organisation.


What You'll Do

  • Act as a
    Workday Payroll SME
    , specialising in UK compliance and configuration.
  • Lead and support
    end-to-end Workday Payroll implementations
    , including testing and go-live.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyse requirements and design scalable payroll solutions.
  • Configure and maintain
    Workday integrations
    with third-party systems.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and ensure seamless payroll cycles.
  • Deliver
    user training
    and documentation to drive adoption and knowledge transfer.
  • Stay up to date with
    UK payroll legislation
    and Workday updates.
  • Support related modules such as
    Time Tracking
    and
    Absence Management
    .


What We're Looking For

  • Workday Payroll Certification
    (Ideal).
  • Extensive experience
    in payroll, with a strong focus on Workday.
  • Deep understanding of
    UK payroll operations and legislation
    .
  • Proven experience across multiple
    Workday Payroll implementations
    .
  • Strong skills in Workday configuration tools (pay codes, earnings, deductions).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of other Workday modules (HR, Benefits) is a plus.
