Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and safety standards. This role requires an individual who can manage a team effectively while ensuring exceptional service and quality in all aspects of the restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain optimal team performance.
  • Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to ensure kitchen efficiency.
  • Collaborate with culinary staff to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant premises to maintain cleanliness and organisation.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
  • Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
