Operations Manager
to drive performance, efficiency and quality across our partners
Records Management

Location:
Cardiff

Salary:
£42,000 – £45,000 per annum (DOE) + 10% quarterly performance bonus

Hours:
Monday – Friday, 08:30–16:30

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standard. You'll play a key role in shaping strategy, optimising processes and driving operational performance to support overall business goals.

You will:

  • Lead and coordinate daily operational activities across departments to ensure productivity and service excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyse performance metrics, KPI and SOPs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead, motivate and develop teams to achieve high performance and accountability.
  • Manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, time and budget.
  • Work closely with the Systems & Compliance Officer to uphold health, safety and regulatory standards.
  • Report monthly performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

About You

You're an organised, proactive and people-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced environments. You understand how to translate strategy into operational success and are driven by a culture of continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an operational management role, ideally within records management, logistics, or a service based industry.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about driving positive change.
