NetSuite Business Systems Analyst

Location:
(Hybrid) Leeds or Manchester

Overview

I'm currently supporting a growing organisation that is looking for an experienced NetSuite Business Systems Analyst to join their expanding Business Systems function. This is a key role within a business that recognises the importance of technology in driving growth, efficiency, and scalability.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between the Systems Development team and wider operational stakeholders, ensuring that business processes, data integrity, and solution quality are at the heart of every project. You'll be involved end to end, from initial scoping and requirements gathering through to testing, release, and handover, helping to ensure business objectives are clearly translated into successful technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workshops with business stakeholders and external partners to define requirements and priorities.
  • Build and document clear process and data flows in collaboration with process owners.
  • Produce detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to validate designs and solution approaches.
  • Assess business benefits and contribute to planning and prioritisation of initiatives.
  • Oversee delivery progress, managing issues and blockers and ensuring strong stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate QA and User Acceptance Testing activity, ensuring releases are well-documented and fully validated.
  • Liaise closely with support and operations teams to ensure new solutions are effectively transitioned.
  • Act as an advocate for IT best practice, governance, and continuous improvement across the business.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience working with NetSuite, including configuration and process mapping.
  • Strong understanding of billing and finance processes.
  • Broader exposure across business systems, ideally including IT Service Management, CRM, and BI/Data tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality documentation and influence at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity, quality, and process efficiency.
  • Experienced in delivering projects through Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Relevant degree or recognised Business Analysis or Finance qualification would be desirable.

This role would suit a technically minded Business Systems Analyst who enjoys working closely with both IT and business stakeholders someone who takes ownership from design through to delivery and thrives in an environment of continual growth and improvement.
