We're currently seeking a talented Videographer to join our growing team at our Glasgow HQ. We've built up an enviable reputation for our video output over the years and are now looking for a creative, self-starter to take the helm. 

You'll be working closely with staff across the business, as well as on your own initiative, to produce engaging and compelling content that positions Odro as the recruitment industry's leading video interviewing provider, as well as an all-round top brand and a great place to work 

To achieve this, you'll shoot and edit a range of videos - both scripted and non - including product demos, client testimonials, onsite training, motion graphic tutorials, plus team and brand building activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce video and audio recording content including set up, lighting and filming, ensuring highest editorial and technical standards.
  • Camera operation, including the set up and filming of narrative and 3-point lighting.
  • Edit footage using the Adobe Suite, primarily Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Consult with internal stakeholders as required to plan and produce appropriate audio and video content to brief.
  • Lead on projects, ensuring that all work is delivered to the required standard and fits within brand guidelines.
  • Check content for errors and suitability and prepare it for publishing – e.g. sound dub, colour grades and captioning.
  • Work with the team to manage the distribution of content across media channels (e.g. website, YouTube etc) as required.
  • Protecting confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and Odro's information assets.

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing individual with a strong creative outlook and a genuine passion for all things video. Essential criteria:

  • You'll have a minimum of three years' experience shooting and producing film and understand how to communicate the right information in the most engaging way.
  • You must own and be highly skilled in DSLR videography (Canon 5d iv/Sony a7s or similar) with a thorough knowledge of the Adobe suite.
  • You love project work and you're comfortable collaborating with all types of stakeholder, including content creators, marketers and subject experts.
  • You're equally happy to use your own initiative and take the lead to deliver a high volume of videos each month to a consistently high standard.

Graphic design and photography skills would be a bonus but are not essential.
