Front of House Receptionist

Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience? Our recently renovated, high end hair salon is looking for a Front of House Receptionist who understands that every client interaction is an opportunity to impress. We need a friendly, outgoing, and professional individual to manage our front desk with grace and efficiency, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and relaxed from the moment they step through the door.
Hours:
- Tues 08:30 - 15:00
- Wed 08:30 - 15:00
- Thurs 08:30 - 17:30
- Fri 12:30 - 16:30
We are a modern and flexible employers that values a healthy work - life balance. We prioritise time with our loved ones at the weekend so do not work on Saturdays. We are willing to consider a modified working pattern for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide information to callers and visitors about the company and its services
- Become a proficient of the salon management software package to capture and manage all appointment and salon transactions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- IT skills for basic office applications and willingness to upskill on salon management software
