We are seeking a creative and inspiring Drama Teacher to join a forward-thinking Independent School in Haringey, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Drama Teacher to foster a love of theatre and performance across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Drama Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Prepare students for practical assessments and performances in Drama.
  • Develop students' acting skills, confidence, and understanding of dramatic techniques.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Drama Teacher.
  • Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular drama activities and productions.
  • Uphold the school's ethos of creativity and support as a valued Drama Teacher.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Drama.
  • Proven experience in teaching Drama at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of dramatic literature and performance styles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Drama Teacher.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Drama.
  • A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
