Chartered ARB Architect / Project Manager
Location: Bath, Wiltshire

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

A well-established architectural practice with offices across the South West and Wales is seeking a Chartered ARB Architect / Project Lead to join its expanding team. The practice works across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, care, education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial, offering tailored architectural and project management services from concept to completion.

This is a key role for an experienced architect who is confident leading projects and managing client relationships, with a strong eye for detail and a collaborative approach. The successful candidate will be joining a design-focused, technology-driven team that values high-quality outcomes and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead architectural projects from inception to completion, including planning, technical detailing, and site delivery
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and communication between all stakeholders
  • Use BIM and data-rich 3D modelling tools to develop coordinated designs
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and construction process
  • Ensure compliance with planning policy, building regulations, and CDM responsibilities
  • Support junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
Requirements:
  • ARB-registered Chartered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-Part 3 experience
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple projects independently
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows
  • Solid knowledge of UK planning and construction regulations
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude
  • Project management qualifications (desirable but not essential)
