Join Our Team as a Mobility Engineer/Driver at Your Mobility Ltd

Are you passionate about helping others and have a knack for fixing things? We're looking for a Mobility Engineer/Driver to become a key part of our small, dedicated team. In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, repairing, and servicing mobility equipment, as well as assembling and installing mobility scooters both in our workshop and at customer homes. Above all, we value compassion and exceptional customer service, and we're seeking someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving technical challenges, and making a positive impact in people's lives. No prior experience with specific products is necessary—full training will be provided—so if you're mechanically or electrically minded and ready to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Responsibilities

  • Collection and delivery of mobility products from customer homes using company Van
  • Diagnose, fault find, repair and service mobility products including replace parts as required (Training Provided)
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical support and parts.
  • Preparing and refurbishing used mobility products for sale.
  • Assist with home demonstrations and visits of mobility products.
  • Assemble mobility products as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
  • Supporting your colleagues in our showroom
  • Attend manufacturer training courses when required
  • Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role such a mobility scooter engineer is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience driving Company Large Van
  • Valid driving licence with 2 years driving experience and clean driving record, ; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service
  • Good Mechanical and/or electrical knowledge including experience with hand tools
  • Be someone with a mature, responsible outlook on life who enjoys engaging with people of all ages
  • A confident communicator with an enthusiastic and positive manner
  • Have excellent customer service, organisational and problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
