Sports Therapist

Job description

We are looking for an exceptional Sports Therapist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, sports therapists and front desk team. The successful applicant will be providing treatment for musculoskeletal conditions, sports massage and rehabilitation sessions. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a new graduate or an experienced Sports Therapist at any stage in your career to work alongside our team of skilled therapists. Participation in in-house CPD or developmental activities will also be offered.

The Role

Immediate start available, but we are also happy to wait for the right applicant.

The successful applicant will ideally work approximately 30 hours per week with a combination of morning/afternoon and afternoon/evening shifts and 9-1pm every other Saturday. We are happy to consider part-time or full-time hours depending on individual circumstances.

The position can either be employed with a base salary (amount dependent on experience) + achievable bonuses OR self-employed with % based fee share (dependent on experience) + achievable bonuses. This model allows great work life balance and earning potential.

Our Clinic

MK City Chiropractic & Physiotherapy Clinic is a modern and busy family run clinic and sister clinic to Thrive Chiropractic & Health Clinic in Buckingham. Our clinics have a great local reputation, and we are regularly recommended by patients, local GP's and gyms. Our Milton Keynes clinic is located within a modern business centre in central Milton Keynes, with free parking available for staff and patients. We have an expanding, friendly and hard-working team of chiropractors, physiotherapists, sports therapists and fantastic front desk team. We have monthly CPD meetings and regular case discussions where we all learn and benefit from each others skills and experiences. We have summer and Christmas socials.

Candidate requirements

• A fully qualified Sports Therapist.
• Superb interpersonal skills and empathy
• Someone who strives to leave a positive lasting impression on their clients.
• Ability to diagnose and treat a range of MSK conditions, provide sports massage and deliver individually tailored and small group rehabilitation programmes.

Desirable criteria

• Over 1 year of varied Sports Therapy experience.
• Experience of working in private practice
• An interest in dry needling/medical acupuncture
• An interest in Clinical Pilates
• Full UK driving licence
