Carbon60 are currently looking for a Logistics Business Controller to join their client based in Broughton. This position is contract role running until the end of November 2026.

Responsibilities
As the Logistics Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and performance of this organisation. Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and challenging the business operational environment, including strategy, governance, and constraints- Developing and running financial models, simulations, and scenarios to support decision-making- Anticipating financial risks and opportunities, and advising on mitigation strategies- Producing accurate financial reporting and analysing deviations to recommend corrective actions- Identifying cost optimisation and competitiveness initiatives, and monitoring their materialisation- Supporting the execution of financial processes, including resource review, headcount targets, and cost reallocationTo succeed in this Logistics Business Controller role, you will need:- Proven experience in a similar financial planning and analysis role, preferably within the logistics or manufacturing industry- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address financial challenges- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
