First Steps Nursery (Lowton WA3 2RD) is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and motivating person to recruit to work alongside our current management team in a 3rd in charge position.

The role will include:

  • working under the direction of the manager, deputise as and when required and assist the management team in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from birth to 5 years.
  • lead a team of staff to provide high standards of child care and education including monitoring and reviewing staff performance.
  • having good knowledge and experience of implementing the EYFS and be able to support other staff with the delivery of the EYFS
  • main shift to be 7.15am - 4.30pm (suitable candidate must be able to work a later shift up to 6.30pm to cover other managers absence when required.)

You are required to have:

  • a Level 3 or above qualification in childcare (as listed on the government checklist)
  • Maths GCSE grade C/4 or above
  • have some leadership experience within a nursery
  • an excellent knowledge of EYFS legislation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £14.30 per hour

Expected hours: 41.25 per week
