and help shape the future of infrastructure and environmental projects across the UK.

As an
Assistant Surveyor
, you will be at the heart of delivering accurate, high-quality data that underpins major engineering schemes for clients like
National Highways, The Environment Agency, and Local Authorities
.

You will work on a variety of projects in sectors such as
Airports, Highways, Railways, Environmental, and Industrial Development
, using cutting-edge technology including
Laser Scanning, Drone Surveys, and Underground Utility Mapping
. From day one, you will receive
structured on-the-job training
, and we'll support your growth with opportunities for funded studies toward recognised qualifications.

Here's what you'll need

  • Education Minimum GCSE grade A–C / 4–9 in Mathematics and English.
  • Mindset A strong desire to learn and develop your career in a hands-on, outdoor setting.
  • Skills Good personal management and timekeeping abilities.
  • Flexibility Willingness to work across diverse environments, including Highways, Rail, Environmental, Energy, and Property sectors.
  • Mobility A full UK driving licence and readiness to travel to site locations (including time away from the regional office).
  • Technical Curiosity Enthusiasm to learn industry-standard survey equipment and processing software.
  • Outdoor Focus A genuine interest in working in a site-based environment.
