The HR Shared Services (GSS) Manager will lead HR onboarding operations across the EMEA region, supporting a diverse workforce primarily located in the UK, Ireland, Luxembourg, Romania, and Bulgaria, with additional presence in over 20 other countries. The role ensures consistent, compliant, and efficient HR service delivery whilst looking at more strategic initiatives around harmonisation and automation.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • New Joiner Onboarding:
    Ensure new starters across the region are onboarded in line with internal policies/processes and regulatory guidance. Support payroll team with necessary data/documents for new hires.
  • Processing Contractual Changes
    : Manage and execute various contractual changes, including transfers, promotions and work pattern adjustments, ensuring accuracy and adherence with company policies.
  • Background Checks:
    Manage entire background checks process for new hires & active employees in line with internal policies/processes and regulatory guidance.
  • Central Inbox/Ticket Management
    : Manage a central inbox/ticketing system, offering guidance on company policies and processes.
  • HRIS Data Maintenance
    : Maintain and update data within HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Audits
    : Support with evidence as per internal & external requirements & any other associated tasks
  • Ensure both you and your team are compliant with online mandatory training modules
  • Manage projects & initiatives involving process streamlining, harmonization & automation, as required.
  • Stay updated on local legal regulations across the EMEA region. Provide guidance on compliance and policy updates to both shared services and wider HR Team.
  • Drive initiatives for process harmonization, automation, and service enhancement across EMEA.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects involving onboarding and HR admin integration.
  • Work alongside other CoEs & project management groups for mergers & acquisitions with respect to GSS operational activities.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in HR onboarding tasks within EMEA is essential
  • Experience in managing a shared services team
  • Ability to work on own initiative when required.
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines with an enthusiastic & flexible attitude.
  • Hands on knowledge & experience on Workday too is ideal.
