Your Mission:
Are you an experienced Programme Scheduler ready to take ownership of a complex, integrated programme schedule? We're looking for a proactive and collaborative professional to join our Joint Programme Team (JPT) and play a key role in ensuring programme performance across time, cost, and scope.
In this role, you'll work closely with Project Schedulers, Delivery Agents, and Programme Leadership to maintain robust programme controls and ensure that management information is accurate, timely, and aligned to strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Scheduling & Integration
Support the Programme Controls & Integration Manager in establishing programme control scheduling capabilities
Create and maintain the integrated programme schedule in Primavera P6
Work closely with Project Schedulers and Delivery Agents to gather accurate progress data
Undertake critical path analysis and maintain dependencies and key milestones
Programme Controls & Reporting
Develop processes and tools to ensure consistent, high-quality schedule control and reporting
Support schedule performance analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective recommendations
Contribute to change management and risk management processes, including QSRA development
Carry out quality checks to ensure adherence to best practice
Collaboration & Leadership
Promote open communication across the Joint Programme Team and customer organisations
Provide functional leadership for scheduling within the programme
Support wider programme governance and Programme Controls development
Undertake additional tasks as directed by Programme Leadership
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong leadership and technical planning capability
Excellent engagement and communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to generate and present high-level reports for senior management
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
Expert Primavera P6 user with deep understanding of project scheduling techniques
Experience with major programmes involving integrated schedules
Experience across the full project/programme lifecycle
Strong understanding of planning, progress monitoring, risk, and opportunity management
Understanding of delay analysis and change demonstration methods
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI

Additional Information- Staff or umbrella contractor.
- Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the Client's Bristol office.
- Regular travel to Glasgow (fortnightly).
Sole UK national with SC or ability to gain Security Clearance.
