Mobile Developer

Tipalti is seeking a talented and driven Mid-Senior Mobile Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our dynamic engineering team in London. You're a collaborative problem-solver who will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our high-quality, scalable mobile applications that enable finance teams worldwide to automate their global payables operations.

We believe in a hybrid work model that balances collaboration and flexibility. This role requires 3 days a week in our London office (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) to foster strong team bonds and accelerate technical discussions.

• Design and Development: Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of features for our cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness on both iOS and Android.
• Technical Leadership: Act as a technical owner for key mobile features, driving best practices, architecture discussions, and mentoring more junior engineers.
• Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate business requirements and user stories into elegant and efficient mobile solutions.
• Code Quality: Uphold high standards for code quality through rigorous code reviews, automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Optimisation: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, fix bugs, and ensure the overall health and stability of the mobile application.
• Innovation: Stay current with new mobile development trends and technologies, proposing improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the platform.

• Mid-Senior Level Experience: Proven experience (typically 3+ years for Mid-level, 5+ for Senior) in professional software development, with a significant focus on mobile applications.
• Expert React Native: Deep expertise in developing, releasing, and maintaining complex applications using React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Mobile Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of the mobile application lifecycle, including deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, mobile UI/UX principles, and performance optimization.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional Agile team environment.
• Architectural Understanding: Experience with mobile state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, MobX) and building scalable, maintainable mobile architectures.
• Fintech/SaaS Experience (Plus): Experience working within a Fintech or high-growth SaaS environment is a significant advantage.
