About the Role

We're seeking a Solution Engineer (UK based) to join our fast-growing team. This role bridges the gap between technology and business - advising prospects, architecting tailored payment solutions, and ensuring smooth technical onboarding for new enterprise clients.

You'll work closely with our Business Development and Onboarding teams, ensuring each client's integration journey is efficient, effective and aligned with best practices.

Key Responsibilities of the Solution Engineer include:

  • Partner with business development to design and present technical payment solutions for new clients
  • Coordinate and manage technical implementation projects end-to-end from kickoff to go-live
  • Oversee project timelines, technical requirements, and integrations across global teams
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and guide clients through complex integration processes
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and create operational efficiencies
  • Manage multiple projects in a global, remote, and fast-paced environment

Key Requirements of the Solution Engineer include:

  • 3+ years' experience in solution or implementation engineering (preferably in payments or fintech)
  • Strong understanding of online payments, APIs, SDKs, EMV, eWallets, POS systems and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative, problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar CRM/ticketing tools.
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Shell).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
