- Lead strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Regional SEND Programme.
- Coordinate multi-agency initiatives and managing associated budgets.
- Build strong partnerships with local authorities, health, education providers, and parent/carer forums.
- Provide expert advice on change management and transformation to senior leaders.
- Representing the South West in national networks and working groups.
We're looking for an experienced leader with:
- Advanced theoretical knowledge in SEND (Masters level or equivalent).
- Proven track record in improving services for children and young people with SEND.
- Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice.
- Experience in multi-agency working and systems leadership.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and budgets.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and co-production with families and young people.
Location: South West Region (significant travel required)
Contract: Full-time 1 year fixed term, we would be happy to consider a secondment
