As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Administrator to support our busy team. This role is essential to ensuring smooth office operations, effective communication, and excellent service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the construction management team.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and ensure the workspace is organised.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and digital, for construction projects, client documents and accounts.
- Maintain central management system Builder Trend
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, and appointments for the team.
- Assist with payroll processing, timesheet management, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation.
- Maintain and update project timelines and schedules.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project coordination.
- Assist in preparing reports, and other documentation as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role in a construction or similar industry.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and company specific management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a solution-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
- A valid driver's license (preferred but not essential).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
