The role sits within the UK and Ireland part of the SAP Business Group. We are a remote business first; this role will require client visits. Due to the nature of our client's accounts
Security Clearance

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated FICO & PS Consultant to join our well established RunSAP FICO Team to assist in the support of BAU activities across multiple Customers.

Please note - This role requires a significant requirement to support Project Systems across multiple customers. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of understanding around Project Systems configuration and key operational procedures, supported with an evidenced history of supporting Project Systems.

Additionally, you will have experience in any combination of the following SAP FICO modules: - AP / AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Product costing and Profit Centre Accounting.

Experience in Treasury Management or Fiori an advantage.

What you will be doing
: -

  • Working closely with our varied customer base utilising your knowledge and experience providing advice and support around FICO SAP configuration and business processes.
  • Support and liaise closely with corresponding client teams to resolve issues, provide solutions, and offer support to clients to meet contractual obligations.
  • Deliver Great Customer Service - build effective working relationships with colleagues, as well as internal & external customers.
  • Deliver Customer Change - working with our customers to:
  • Gather and analyse requirements, define, validate, and design solutions.
  • Translate requirements into estimates and functional specifications, working with appropriate teams to comprehensively detail SAP Configuration, ABAP changes, Security requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Establish implementation / cutover plans and educate for ongoing support.
  • From time to time, there may also be opportunity to be involved in short term Projects providing support for FICO related activities.

We're looking for people who have: -

  • Experience in a SAP FICO Consultant role
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience in customizing and developing
  • SAP FICO solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements.
  • A good understanding and experience of FICO related business process.
  • Experience of Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing and defect management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong personal and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work at pace managing own workload to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to change focus quickly based on changing prioritisation and demands.
  • S/4 Hana experience advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Integration with other SAP modules (e.g. MM, SD advantageous.
