Who are we: Nestlings Care Ltd is an independent care provider for Children and Young Adults registered with CQC and Ofsted who provide highly specialist residential placement for young people with challenging behaviors due to mental health diagnoses. Our aim is to take young people from various restrictive settings for example hospitals, secure children's homes, to a homely environment to offer them a chance of living in the community with robust monitoring, risk management and comprehensive treatment plans. You will be supported by the Registered Manager and a highly experienced multi-disciplinary Mental Health team. Currently we have several homes across the North West of England and we have achieved positive outcomes with a number of young people.

This role is to work in our BRAND NEW, OFSTED & CQC regulated home in Congleton.

About the role: We are looking for someone who is committed, resilient and willing to work within a team setting in an environment which can be emotionally and physically demanding but is very rewarding. Do you have an NVQ Level 3/4 Qualification or equivalent in a Health and Social Care related subject? If not, would you be willing to enroll and complete one? Essential:

· Ability to work as part of a dynamic team and use initiative in highly demanding situations.

· To be able to work unsociable hours, including weekends, sleep & waking nights as required on a rota basis.

· Previous experience in a relevant care setting.

· Ability to work in a physically demanding role which will require physical intervention.

· Positive attitude to constructive criticism and development and willingness to learn from colleagues and progression.

Desirable:

· Awareness of child protection & safeguarding.

· Basic knowledge of CQC & Ofsted regulations.

· Experience of working with individuals with developmental disorders and mental health issues.

· Full UK driving licence.
