Role: Support Worker
· Location(s): Nantwich, Cheshire. CW5
· Salary / Pay Rate: £26,000 - £32,916.00
· Shifts pattern: 2 on 4 off shift pattern with sleep-in after each shift
· Access to vehicle required: A full UK driving license, and we ask that you get business insurance for your vehicle.

What we do
Crystal Care Solutions are a specialist, independent social care organization who operate a number of residential and supported accommodation homes across the region. Established in 2006 we pride ourselves in providing in making an outstanding contribution to the children and young people we care for which is highlighted with 50% of our Residential Homes being rated Outstanding with Ofsted.
What you'll do
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Crystal Care Solutions team for a Support Worker within our Care Leaving Service for 16-25 year olds. Our aim and yours will be to transform the lives of the young people in our service. As a Support Worker, every day will be different and you won't find a more rewarding career.
We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated team players with a can-do approach who really care about the needs of young people. You'll enjoy working with children and young people, providing day to day support, guidance and facilitate activities. You'll create a safe, caring and supportive place to live for our young people.

What you'll need
· Provide a safe environment for the young people within our service
· Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
· Be a good team player to provide a high level of support and achieve positive outcomes
· Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
· Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork
· Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development
· Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home
· Have resilience, motivation and determination
· Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
· Be inclusive to all children and young people and committed to upholding and protecting the rights of individuals
· Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins
· Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn
· Apply for enhanced DBS disclosure and if applicable, overseas criminal records checks
· Full UK driving licence
Desirable Attributes
· Experience working with adults or young people in a supported living, accommodation or residential setting
· Experience of working within learning disability or mental health settings, with individuals who may demonstrate challenging and complex behaviours, or in a childrens residential setting
· Diploma Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent or willingness to work towards the above Level 3 qualification
· Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Supported Accommodation
· Experience of Ofsted/CQC/Social Care Wales inspections
· Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people
