As Hot Food / Deli Counter Assistant you will work as part of the deli team to prepare high quality hot and cold deli products in our Kennys Foodfare, Highfield Store, Magherafelt

We have a vacancy for a part time member of staff - 16 hours per week. (Monday to Sunday) . Hours are from 6am to 3pm.

Your duties will include:

· Assisting in preparing and cooking interesting and fresh food.

. Greet and serve customers in a very busy deli/ hot food bar

. Ensure food counter presentation complies with company policy

· Complete production, wastage, temperature and cleaning records

· Cleaning duties following our Clean As You Go procedure and daily/weekly store cleaning plan

· Wrap/package goods for the customer , ensuring the appropriate price is attached for payment at the till area.

We would like you to have:

  • Previous experience in deli/food service (preferred but not essential)
  • Good team working skills
  • Excellent customers service skills
  • An interest in cooking or relevant cooking experience
  • High standard of cleanliness
  • Health and Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
