A well-established construction company with substantial expertise in their specific field, is expanding and looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.  They have a solid reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, hence the increase in demand for tender submissions.

The Role
 

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders. You'll work closely with the commercial and construction teams to ensure bids reflect the true scope, risks, and opportunities of each project.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyse tender documents and drawings to produce detailed estimates
  • Producing full take-offs and facilitate the creation of bills of quantities
  • Track costs, variations, and market trends to ensure competitive pricing

Your skills, experience and qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in construction
  • Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, materials, and regulations
  • IT Proficient with excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Relevant qualification in construction, civil engineering, or quantity surveying preferred (or equivalent)
