Care Assistants - Nights

Offering full or part time hours at an hourly rate of £12.75 or £13.25 (if you are medication trained). Shifts: 7pm-7am.

We have an exciting opportunity for Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at CQC rated 'Outstanding' care home, St Johns House. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our residents, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and general hygiene.
  • Provide personalised care and support to a diverse group of residents, including those with alzheimer's, dementia, epilepsy, and sensory impairments.
  • Maintain confidential and accurate records in care plans.
  • Engage residents in activities like reading, writing, hobbies, and friendly conversations to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Foster good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and visitors, creating a supportive environment for everyone.
