Domestic Considerations: This post is based in Andover but will often and regularly require work in London and travel elsewhere.  Position Role:  Principal Communications, Marketing and Engagement (CME) staff officer within Field Army Centre (FAC), HQ Field Army; focal point for guidance and advice to Field Army Troops (FAT).  Responsibilities:
1. Principal CME staff officer in FAC, HQ Fd Army, responsible for comms planning and ensuring the HQ and FAT is policy compliant; lead for FOI requests, PQs and disclosure matters.
2. HQ Fd Army lead on establishing Military Public Affairs (Mil PA) capability.
3. HQ Fd Army lead for Army engagement events including Army Expo and RUSI Land Warfare Conference. Arrange media facilities, briefings as required; conduct press escorts/media handling.
4. Ensure Army Engagement & Comms strategy and social media policy is understood and adhered to throughout HQ Fd Army.
5. Provide Military Public Affairs support to Army Comms Branch as required.
6. To provide CME and Media input and guidance to HQ Field Army and FAT.
7. Direct and support HQ and FAT media personnel and provide regular CPD opportunities, in line with Def Comms FKSE. Provide media training support and input to HQ FA and FAT and unit levels.
8. HQ lead for all media & comms liaison with Army C&E, ACB, DE&C, DDC, PJHQ, NATO staff and Regional Media Officers. Focal point for Army Sec and MAB disclosure Cell wrt PQs, FOI and visits.
