Cleaning Supervisor

This is a Monday to Friday Cleaning Supervisor role.

The applicant must have a full UK Driving Licence

Brief Description of Main Duties/Purpose of Post:

The post holder is required to ensure that the cleaning services provided by the company are of the highest standard and as laid out in the customer schedule and contract. The post holder will provide training and supervision to cleaning operatives in designated contracts ensuring a high standard of consistent performance.

Description of Job Content:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. To assist in the selection, training and supervision of cleaning operatives in designated cleaning contracts.

2. To visit each customer site at designated times and ensure standards of cleaning are consistent, of a high standard and in accordance with the customer cleaning schedule and contract.

3. To ensure that the schedule of work in each customer site is allocated appropriate and efficiently.

4. To order monitor and deliver cleaning materials ensuring that the cleaning cupboards have minimum stock levels.

5. To check company equipment on each visit ensuring that it is in good working order.

6. To ensure that cleaning operatives are working to best practice guidelines and adhering to the Health and Safety Policies and to report all concerns to the Operations Manager.

7. To issue and retrieve staff uniforms and ensure that cleaning operatives adhere to the company Dress Code.

8. To work within the company Code of Conduct and that of the customer.

9. To undertake other tasks or management requests within your area of responsibility in order to maintain and improve cleaning services within each contract.

10. To ensure that cleaning operatives are adhering to the key and site security requirements of each site.

11. To work with the Operations Manager to build team cohesiveness and promote a positive working environment.

12. To participate in the appraisal of cleaning operatives.

13. Assist in implementation of operational policies and procedures.

14. To assist where necessary in the recording of cleaning stocks or consumable items. Receiving stock as required in collaboration with the Business Administration Manager

15. Work cooperatively with all colleagues to promote and facilitate the achievement of the Company's objectives.

16. To participate in projects and assignments as required.

17. To at all times take care of and respect the property of the Company and of the customers of the Company.

This is a description of the duties of the post as it is at present. This list is not intended to be exhaustive and does not, therefore, form part of your contract of employment. The job will be reviewed on a regular basis in order to ensure that the duties meet the requirements of the service and to make any changes necessary. This procedure will be conducted by one of the Company Directors in consultation with those working directly with her/him. You will, therefore, be expected to participate fully in such discussions. The Good Cleaning Company would aim to reach agreement to changes.

As a term of employment, the post holder can be required to undertake such other duties commensurate with grade, and/or hours of work, either at your initial place of work or at any of the organisation's establishments / customer premises.
