We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, financial oversight, and human resources, with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the practice, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the dental team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation.
- Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Handle human resources functions, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
- Foster a welcoming environment for patients while addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment while managing vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a dental or healthcare setting is essential. and Gdc registration and be able to nurse when required .
- Strong financial management skills with an understanding of budgeting and accounting principles.
- Experience in human resources practices including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Previous veterinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; however, a passion for animal care is beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike.
