We are looking for a creative Design and Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding mixed school in Camden, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal Design and Technology Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology Teacher lessons, covering various design and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare students for projects and assessments.
  • Develop students' design thinking and practical skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of DT resources.
  • Organise and lead design and technology-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology.
  • Proven experience teaching design and technology at secondary level.
  • Strong technical and practical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
