The Certinia Product Management team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us deliver a services delivery platform that addresses the pain points of professional services teams, translating insights into a compelling product strategy and roadmap. They will be responsible for prioritizing features that directly impact customer outcomes, reduce churn and identify opportunities for expansion. By collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market, they'll guide the development of product capabilities that not only meet user needs but also integrate seamlessly with other parts of the platform and leverage leading edge Salesforce technologies, particularly around AI. This strategic focus on investments and business outcomes is what differentiates a senior PM in this specialized field.

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the development work of one or more feature crews, supporting other product managers, and helping to define, communicate, and execute the long-term vision and strategy for our offerings / capabilities within a specific product area.

This position requires exceptional interpersonal and technical skills, someone to work with many departments and internal stakeholders such as engineering teams, product operations, other product managers, and UX designers to ensure that the opportunities are identified and prioritized. Additionally, you will be working with telemetry and analytics tools to help define guidelines and recommendations for its implementation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Strategy:

* Work closely with Product Leaders, Customers and Competitive Intelligence to understand how our product's vision aligns with the business's key performance indicators (KPIs), such as Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)

* Help to envision a roadmap to drive the work we are doing and articulate our direction to our customers.

Release Planning & Delivery:

* Research and prioritize release requirements through discussions and formal elicitation methods, including internal stakeholder ideas, meetings, interviews, competitive analysis and advisory boards.

* Work with key internal stakeholders and your development team to participate in the launch of new releases and its deployment.

* Coordinate with Engineering Managers, Release Managers, Product Managers responsible for each of our products, and User experience through each of the steps from planning to release delivery and updates to existing customers.

* Collaborate closely with other product managers and product strategy managers to shape the product prioritization and roadmap, including taking suggestions and ideas from prospects & customers.

* From the Statement of Direction & investment priorities, define the key epics and ensure these are represented in each release planning cycle across all related products.

* Own the PM responsibility for ensuring that features are ready to ship, according to the product team readiness criteria and checklist.

Stakeholder Engagement:

* Frequent interactions with our key stakeholders to gain an understanding of their top issues, how our solution addresses their processes, feature gaps and opportunities for improvement.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager of a commercial grade product such as business applications and/or SaaS applications/commercial software.

* Strong understanding of technologies and technology platform concepts.

* A keen eye for data and metrics and full understanding of how they contribute to better decision making in all key business areas.

* A clear understanding of the market and personas we are serving with our solution/s.

* Possess exceptional product design, communication/interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience working in an Agile environment and leading engineering team.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Global mindset.

* Ability to travel domestically and occasional international travel.

* Fluent English communication skills to interact with our global workforce.

WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT

* Understanding of data analytics, statistics and ML/AI.

* Previous experience working on ERP/PSA/CSP solutions and/or cloud platforms is highly desirable.
