Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services, ensuring that every patron enjoys a memorable dining experience. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be essential in providing top-notch hospitality while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted correctly.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling special items or promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen space.
  • Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, providing assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food delivery.
  • Process payments efficiently while handling cash and card transactions accurately.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong understanding of guest services and the importance of customer satisfaction.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills effectively.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
  • A passion for providing outstanding hospitality and helping guests feel welcome in our establishment.
