As a Waiter/Waitress at the oldest Seafood Restaurant in Brighton, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a historic establishment renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Service**:

- Extend a warm and gracious welcome to guests upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their tables and present them with menus.
- Offer expert recommendations on seafood selections and wine pairings.
- Take precise orders and ensure special requests or dietary preferences are communicated accurately to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and beverages with finesse and attentiveness.
- Anticipate and promptly address any guest needs or concerns.

**Menu Mastery**:

- Cultivate an in-depth knowledge of our seafood menu, including sourcing, preparation, and presentation.
- Be prepared to engage with guests, answer questions about seafood offerings, and provide insightful suggestions.

**Table Elegance**:

- Ensure that restaurant tables are meticulously set and maintained to the highest standards.
- Monitor table presentation throughout the dining experience, replacing utensils, glassware, and linens as needed.

**Collaborative Excellence**:

- Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth and synchronized dining service.
- Maintain open and efficient communication with team members to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of orders.
- Uphold the restaurant's commitment to cleanliness and organization.

**Upscale Salesmanship**:

- Promote our daily specials, seasonal catches, and premium seafood offerings.
- Expertly recommend wine pairings and engage in upselling opportunities to enhance the dining experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining or seafood restaurant is highly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Grace under pressure, with the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
- Attentive to detail and dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
