Gigawatt Industries Ltd is a leading Independent Connections Provider (ICP) delivering end-to-end EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects across the UK.

We work with major national clients to design, build, and energise large-scale charging and power infrastructure — from DNO connections and substations to full turnkey Civils and Electrical delivery.

About the Role

Due to continued growth and expansion, we're seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple live EV infrastructure projects across the UK.

You'll be responsible for ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification, managing commercial performance, client relationships, and team coordination throughout the full lifecycle — from planning and mobilisation through to handover and energisation.

This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely with civils, electrical, and commercial teams to maintain Gigawatt's standards of quality and efficiency across every site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple live EV infrastructure projects from start to completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Lead coordination between civils, electrical, and commissioning teams.
  • Conduct progress meetings, site audits, and H&S inspections.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to RAMS and DNO/IDNO standards.
  • Track financial performance, variations, and project reporting.
  • Maintain client relationships and provide regular progress updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery methods and site efficiency.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in utilities, construction, or electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of civils and electrical coordination, including DNO/IDNO or ICP projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management experience.
  • Ability to travel to project sites across the UK as required.
  • Formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP, or APM Practitioner, or equivalent experience managing structured projects and frameworks.
  • Full UK driving licence.
