The team executes this task through a strong work ethic and close collaboration and with a wide variety of stakeholders including suppliers, logistics, planners, production teams and the customer community (inc MoD, RN and supporting authorities).

The installation of complex weapon systems requires a co-ordinated multi-disciplinary approach, clear and consistent 2-way communication and a strong will to succeed in sometimes challenging conditions. A sharp technical eye for detail and resolute attitude towards problem solving are also considered key attributes in a Gunnery Engineers skill-set. The team is currently progressing towards system STW in HMS Glasgow and looking forward to the 2nd iteration of equipment load-out and installation in HMS Cardiff, whilst planning for the first T26 sea trials in the background.
