This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a fast:growing, forward:thinking Multidisciplinary Consultancy, currently in the process of establishing themselves as an industry:leading team of design experts in the Water and wider Civil Engineering sectors. They are currently on the lookout for a keen, capable Senior Civil Engineer with demonstrable knowledge of drainage and non:infrastructure design who is willing and able to lead a team through their delivery of an array of challenging projects. You will be responsible for leading a bright new team of design engineers, based just on the outskirts of the artsy, popular city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities For The Role Of Senior Civil Engineer Include
: Delivering on a broad range of design projects and developments

: Leading a team of Civil Engineers, providing mentorship and guidance as they develop professionally

: Overseeing a variety of aspects of engineering projects, delivering them to the highest of standards within agreed budgets and timescales

: Leading the delivery of a number of residential, commercial, and industrial projects

: Building and maintaining important professional relations with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors

: Preparing and checking reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, and other such technical documents

: Enforcing company policies and procedures, ensuring all colleagues consistently adhere to best practice

: Upholding the appropriate health and safety standards at all times

: Delivering business development strategies, acting as a trusted company representative

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

: A UK Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a similar, relevant field

: Possess Chartered Status with a relevant, recognised Professional Body, or proactively working to attain this

: Extensive experience of working in a design capacity, within a UK:based consultancy setting

: Demonstrable experience of working with water:based projects

: Experience of detailed civil engineering design, particularly drainage systems and strategies

: Proficient in the use of various software packages (including Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)

: Considerable experience of preparing reports and other technical documents

: Prior experience of leading projects and/or teams

: Experience of managing client and stakeholder relations

: Good organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

: Hold a full, valid UK driving licence

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

: A UK Masters Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering or Hydrology (or a cognate discipline)

: Specific experience of working with non:infrastructure projects (such as reservoirs, pumping stations, etc.)

: Experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments

: Experience of Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS)

: Experience of working in a public:facing role
