Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and implementing merchandising strategies that enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising products effectively.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll management, and reporting.
  • Maintain effective communication with upper management regarding store performance and challenges.

Experience

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual capabilities being advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales management, merchandising, and time management.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
