Job Title: Midday Supervisor's – Nursery/Primary (two vacancies) *
Grade: Aquinas Grade A3.1
Full time salary: £25,434.00 p.a.
*Hours Primary: 5 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 12:15- 13:15 (1 hour per day)
*Hours Nursery: 10 hrs per week Monday to Friday, 11:30- 13:30 (2 hours per day)
*Actual Pro-Rata Primary: £3,025.05
*Actual Pro-Rata Nursery: £6,050.10
We are looking to recruit two Midday Supervisors. One for our nursery setting Mon-Fri 11:30-1:30pm and one for our standard primary setting 12:15-13:15pm. The successful candidates will have a calm and positive manner with children. Previous experience of working with children may be an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to work flexibly as part of a team are essential.
The role will involve:
· Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
· Supervising conduct of pupils in the lunch hall and playground.
· Setting up the lunch hall and cleaning after lunch.
· Supporting and encouraging pupil's social interaction and undertaking first aid as needed.
Our ideal candidate will have:
· Full and relevant qualifications in CACHE/NVQ Level 3.
· First aid training/training in specific medical procedures as appropriate.
· A flexible attitude.
· Listening and observation skills.
· Team working skills.
· An ability to deal with parents and children with tact and sensitivity.
· General experience of children and their supervision.
· Good communication skills.
· Be self-motivated.
· Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
· A good attention to detail; and
· A good sense of humour.
· Knowledge and understanding of how to support children and aid their development.
· Want to work as part of a hardworking, dedicated, and cohesive team.
· Have a friendly, helpful, caring, and flexible approach.
