ULVA The Company

ULVA CUI Prevention is a specialist company focused on the prevention of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) in largely the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.

The systems operate by weatherproofing insulation to prevent the ingress of moisture thereby removing one of the constituents necessary for corrosion.

As ULVA embarks on the next phase of its expansion we are seeking a high energy person to join our global Sales and Marketing team in the role of Inside Sales Executive.

Role and Responsibilities Role

The winning of profitable business in conjunction with the external sales force through the provision of outstanding customer care.

The bridge between ULVA's activities in the field and factory.

The promotion of the ULVA Brand through marketing communication.

Responsibilities

  • The first port of call for customer enquiries
  • Forecasting with field sales engineers
  • Sales Funnel Development
  • Constant contact with the Solutions Engineers and Site Services Engineers to support the conversion of leads into orders
  • Conversion of customer enquiries into quotations
  • Customer education for MTO generation
  • Formal handover of orders received to Operations
  • CRM system development
  • Owner of the website
  • Development of the ERP system for quote generation through to works orders, shipping documentation and invoicing
  • Identifying and researching potential leads
  • Marketing communications to the customer base
  • Development and ownership of the company marketing funnel

Experience/ Background

An appreciation of the world of engineering and engineers. In role the successful candidate will spend a great deal of their time interfacing with engineers so understanding how engineers think and being able to speak the same language is important. Of course any engineering related qualifications or previous experience would be highly advantageous

Previous experience working in an inside Sales Team would be highly desirable. Perhaps you are the number two in that team at present? We would be looking for someone who has a future aspiration to lead others as we build out the capability of this function within the business

Key Competences/ Behaviours

Strong IT skills and a passion for IT solutions to automate manual tasks are an absolute must and a desire to develop the companies' CRM, take on continuous development of the website and develop the promotional marketing/ digital marketing capability will be expected

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of initiative (to continually seek ways to improve the business in their area of control and influence) and be able to work independently (with appropriate direction, coaching and support of course) to achieve their goals

You will interface with all the other functions in the business in order to be effective in role - in effect be the glue that brings our contracts together pre handover to the Operations team which means you need good people skills and an appreciation of and a desire to learn about the culture in many countries of the world.

Position Would Suit

The position would be best suited to someone living within commutable distance of Telford. The role is predominantly office based with the option to work from home up to two days per week. Occasional travel outside the UK might be required from time to time.

Benefits

The company will offer a full onboarding program which will include one month in a construction yard to fully experience the reality of our customer's world in terms of what they do and how we interface effectively with them. This could mean being away from home for an extended period initially outside the UK

ULVA will offer not just internal coaching and support but also as required external training support too to enable this
