We are a neighbourhood pizzeria inspired by the best pizzerias of Naples and New York. We have 4 restaurants in the South West - 2 in Bristol, 1 in Bath, 1 in Cardiff & 1 in Cheltenham.

Bosco pizzeria are looking for a driven, ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate Head pizza chef who enjoys being an inspirational member of a kitchen team.

We hope to find the perfect Head pizza chef for our site in Bath, to help convey our passion for fresh, seasonal & stunning Italian produce and cookery, as well as someone who is dedicate to training, developing and inspiring young chefs and enthusing a whole restaurant with passion for what we do.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is currently fulfilling a Head Pizza Chef role currently, or someone who is ready to take the next step forward in their career. Experience is a must, we love to nurture and train at Bosco, but at least 3 years experience in a full time position will be required, as well as

The head pizza chef role requires you to have experience in :

  • Working in a high output kitchen with fresh food,
  • The production and management of dough,
  • Good hand stretched pizza skills,
  • Management and a good understanding of pizza ovens,
  • Managing and training of a team of other pizza chefs,
  • Taking direction and forming a strong relationship with the Head chef.

What we are offering:

  • Base Salary of £35,000 per annum
  • Tronc tips are currently between £11k - £13k annually. All tips are evenly shared between all employees.
  • Overtime Pay: Get paid for any hours worked beyond your contracted days at your normal hourly rate

What we require:

  • Previous experience as a Head Pizza chef or at least 3 years at a Pizza chef level
  • A positive attitude and the ability to transmit this to inspire and train your team
  • The ability to calmly and cooly run busy services in an open kitchen
  • An attention to detail to allow you to produce the best food you can
