Antagonizine is dedicated to fostering nuanced conversations about the world we live in, sparking meaningful discussions on topics such as politics, fashion, music, and everything in between. With a mission to challenge perspectives and embrace diversity, Antagonizine engages readers of all ages to explore a variety of opinions. We wish to highlight stories and talent outside of creative hubs such as London, New York, Paris etc.

Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Contributing Writer at Antagonizine. The Contributing Writer will be responsible for creating compelling content, conducting thorough research on assigned topics, and contributing to the overall creative direction of the publication. On a day-to-day basis, writers will collaborate with the editorial team to craft articles that align with the mission and themes of Antagonizine while also meeting submission deadlines. Must be comfortable seeking out and interviewing upcoming artists and creatives in your local area. Uk-wide, 2 articles per month.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Writing, Creative Writing, and storytelling
  • Research and Analytical skills to explore complex topics in depth
  • Editing, Proofreading, and attention to detail for polished and accurate content
  • Ability to convey diverse perspectives and craft insightful, meaningful content
  • Excellent written communication and deadline management skills
  • Familiarity with topics such as politics, culture, fashion, or music is a plus
  • A passion for sparking thoughtful dialogue and reaching local audiences
