with at least five years' experience in a similar role to lead and deliver high-performing paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, email, websites and digital platforms.
This is a
hands-on and tactical role
for someone who can combine creativity with a clear focus on achieving outcomes and results. You'll work closely with the other members of our small marketing team, internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver fully integrated campaigns that support the YMCA's mission and growth ambitions.

The Role
- Lead on
planning, delivering and optimising
paid social media campaigns - Manage
email marketing
and
website content updates - Use data and insights through
GA4, GTM
and
Meta/Google Ads
to drive campaign performance improvements, inform decision-making and measure campaign impact - To own and ensure all paid digital marketing activity reflects the
YMCA's brand, values and mission
while achieving measurable results. - Manage
stakeholder communications
, keeping the Head of Marketing and colleagues informed on progress and impact. - Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure
joined-up marketing campaigns
across all channels.
About You – Does this sound like you?
- With at least 5 years' experience delivering multi-channel campaigns (paid social, Google Ads, email, web), you will have strong skills in targeting, optimisation, budgeting, keyword strategy, and campaign reporting.
- You will have a deep knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and Tag Manager, including campaign setup, tracking, attribution, and insight generation.
- You can demonstrate your ability in email marketing automation (segmentation, workflows, personalisation), plus experience in SEO (technical, content, on-page) and CRO/UX (A/B testing, user journey optimisation).
- You will be competent in CMS management, landing page builds, site optimisation, analytics setup, UTM conventions, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
- You will be skilled at managing freelancers, agencies, and internal teams, using project management tools to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on brand.
- As an excellent communicator, you will be a strong copywriter with previous stakeholder communication skills, ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines, GDPR/PECR requirements, and tone of voice standards.
- With a strategic mindset, you will be able to set KPIs, analyse data into actionable insights, apply a "test and learn" approach, and manage workload effectively in high-volume environments.
