The Person

A dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales, who acts as ambassador of The Fellows House hotel. You will embody our core values of cultured, devoted and person centred, displaying value driven leadership with a devotion to excellence. You will have a passion for hospitality with a customer centric mindset demonstrating a deep devotion to providing a person-centered experience for both guests and team members.

The Role

You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, increasing brand awareness, and fostering guest loyalty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel sales, demonstrating creativity, strategic thinking, and effective leadership skills. You will possess the ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies and be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and play a key role in promoting and enhancing the Fellows brand. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with The Fellows brand values and business objectives.
  • Drive community engagement strategies that enhance the reputation of The Fellows House and make The Fellows House the hub of the local community.
  • Build on and develop relationships with current clients
  • Analyse current markets and identify new markets and potential clients
  • Ensure in house promotional material is current, effective and supports any new sales and marketing promotion.
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve sales targets, drive revenue growth, and enhance market share.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and event management, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales initiatives, and market trends.
  • Ensure that all outgoing communications are in line with brand guidelines.
  • Devise and coordinate regular guest surveys, analysing the results and recommending continuous improvement ideas and actions.
  • Deliver the product to expected Brand standards and manage the QE process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with a focus on hotels.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Familiarity with the Fellows brand and a commitment to upholding its values.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
