Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Person to help with various maintenance tasks across our stores and sites, including forecourts, laundromats, and more. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys hands-on work and is proactive in keeping our facilities running smoothly.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with building work and minor repairs around the sites, including fixing machinery.
  • Inspect and identify maintenance needs, taking preventative measures where needed.
  • Provide support with electrical tasks and simple troubleshooting.
  • Help with basic welding and metal work if needed.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Keep records of completed work and any repairs made.

Requirements:

  • Practical maintenance experience or a good understanding of basic repair work.
  • Basic electrical skills, including troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to fixing issues.
  • Basic welding skills are a plus, but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
