Grounds Maintenance Operative required for busy landscaping company based in Glasgow.

Location: Glasgow and West Central Scotland.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm. Regular overtime available.

Description:

- Undertake general grounds maintenance duties - ensuring a very high standard of work is maintained at all times.
- Maintenance duties are to include both mechanical and manual operations and will cover the broad spectrum of grounds maintenance. Duties to include edging, grass cutting, weeding, planting trees, shrubs and seasonal bedding, pruning, small tree works and any other gardening tasks associated with grounds maintenance.
- Be competent in the safe use of all garden machinery.
- Carry out routine checks on equipment and machinery.
- Responsible for the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues and others who may be affected by their activity.
- Undertake any relevant training which may be deemed necessary to ensure duties are carried out effectively

Licences/Certification:

- A full, clean UK driving licence is ESSENTIAL
- PA1 & PA6 Spraying Certificate is desirable

General:
You must have a minimum of 3 years grounds/garden maintenance. You must be hardworking, enthusiastic and capable of working on their own or as part of a team. You must also have basic plant knowledge. We work throughout West Central Scotland for a wide range of clients'.
